Lawsuit filed against local hospital, doctors
A lawsuit, filled on Dec. 7, names Jefferson County, the Jefferson County Hospital, and three Fairfield doctors as defendants in a medical malpractice suit.
They are Dr. Joseph McNerney, Dr. Winn Gregory, and Dr. Michael Greiner. The Medical Arts Clinic, P.C. of Fairfield, where the three were practicing at the time, is also named in the suit.

They are Dr. Joseph McNerney, Dr. Winn Gregory, and Dr. Michael Greiner. The Medical Arts Clinic, P.C. of Fairfield, where the three were practicing at the time, is also named in the suit.
According to court documents, Andrea and Andrew Malcom, residents of Kalona, are filing the suit because they allege that care and treatment of Mrs. Malcom while in the hospital fell short of a suitable standard of care.
