Leaf pickup starting Nov. 9 in Mt. Pleasant

MT. PLEASANT - The xity of Mt. Pleasant's free leaf collection is scheduled for the week of Nov. 9.
The regularly scheduled Wednesday and Thursday leaf pickup will be one day late due to Veterans Day and will instead be picked up Thursday and Friday. All leaves must be bagged and placed at the curb on a resident's designated trash day. The city asks residents to separate bags of trash from bags of leaves.
The collection is open to all residents. If a resident's trash is picked up by a different service, they can call the city about the pick up at 319-385-1470.
