LeAnn M. Miller, 87, of Salem, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Donnellson Health Center.
Visitation will begin after noon on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. A Christian Vigil service will be held at 5 p.m., that evening, at the Memorial Chapel. LeAnn M. Miller, 87, of Salem, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Donnellson Health Center.
Visitation will begin after noon on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. A Christian Vigil service will be held at 5 p.m., that evening, at the Memorial Chapel. The family will greet friends following the vigil service. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Stack celebrating. Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.

Miller was born on April 17, 1930, in West Point, the daughter of Frank and Teresa Jacobsmeier Blind. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary?s High School, in West Point. On Feb. 24, 1952, she married H. Keith Miller, at St. Mary?s Church, in West Point. He preceded her in death.
Following high school, she worked as a secretary at Sacred Heart Hospital, in Ft. Madison. She was also a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
She enjoyed attending mass, cooking and spending time with family.
Miller is survived by three sons, Harlan (Peggy) Miller, of Mt. Pleasant, Howard Miller, of Mt. Pleasant, and Alan Miller, of Salem; a sister, Mary Lou (Stuart) Hulsebus, of Branson, Mo.; four granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers, Eugene Blind, Robert Blind, LeRoy Blind, Francis Blind, Joseph Blind, and Harold Blind; and three sisters, Francella Kottenstette, Dorine Kenel, and Rita Irerra.
