Legislative forums canceled; Fairfield forum rescheduled for Jan. 29

A pair of Legislative forums were canceled on Saturday due to the winter storm that swept through Southeast Iowa.

The chamber of commerce groups in both Fairfield and Washington planned to hold forums with state legislators that morning, but had to cancel. The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce said its forum will be rescheduled to Saturday, Jan. 29 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce did not announce plans to reschedule its forum, and invited residents to attend the next regularly scheduled forum on Feb. 19.
