Leo Edward House

Leo Edward House, 52, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Hospice House of Ottumwa.

A service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Wapello County.

Mr. House was born Jan. 2, 1960, in Kirksville, Mo., the son of Lee Courtney and Darlene Palmer.

He was a self-employed handyman. He loved his family, enjoyed tinkering with things, fishing and drinking beer with his friends and family.

Survivors include one daughter, Tara Looker of Mount Pleasant; two grandchildren; and five siblings, Diane Henry and husband Kevin of Houghton, Donnie House of West Point, Terry House and wife Cheryl of Martinsburg, Sharon House of Fairfield and Doug House and wife Michelle of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
