Libertyville plans lighting ceremony
LIBERTYVILLE ? Libertyville?s fourth annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony will be held Saturday evening.
The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. at City Park and will include Christmas carols, an invocation from the Rev. Peggy Ellingson, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, and the lighting of the city tree.

LIBERTYVILLE ? Libertyville?s fourth annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony will be held Saturday evening.
The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. at City Park and will include Christmas carols, an invocation from the Rev. Peggy Ellingson, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, and the lighting of the city tree.
Following the lighting ceremony, Faith United Methodist Church will be hosting a cooperative soup supper. Families are invited to bring a soup to share. Crackers and a drink will be provided.
A short film will be shown, and Santa will arrive at 6:30 p.m. to visit with area children and hand out treats.
