Lineup given for community band concert

Selections have been announced for the Mt. Pleasant Community Band?s Concert Thursday, June 15, at Central Park.

The program will begin with the ?Brighton Beach Concert March? followed by ?Winchester Chronicles?.

Music from John Williams in Concert will include ?The Mission Theme? (NBC News); ?The Olympic Spirit?; ?Star Wars Theme?; ?Cantina Band? (from Star Wars); ?The Imperial March? (Darth Vader?s Theme); ?Theme from Jaws?; ?Theme from E.T.? (the Extra Terrestrial).

Three songs from colonial America ? ?Yankee Doodle?, ?Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier? and ?Chester?, are next up.

Rounding out the night?s music will be ?Basin Street Blues?; ?The Muppet Show Theme?; ?Highlights from Jesus Christ Superstar?; ?The Incredibles? (main theme from the Disney movie); and ?United Nations March?.
