Livestock trailer rolls in Brighton

A westbound semi on Highway 78 in Brighton rolled after taking a corner too fast Wednesday morning.
“(The) loaded livestock semi entered the north ditch and rolled onto its passenger side,” a preliminary accident report said. “Surviving livestock (were) freed from the trailer and loaded onto an assisting trailer.”
The driver had no reportable injuries, according to the accident report, which gave no details on how many livestock were injured or killed in the crash.
