A pair of local organizations ? the Mt. Pleasant American Legion and Midwest Old Threshers Association ? received grants Wednesday night from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation.
The American Legion received $25,000 for a community room and Old Threshers was awarded $34,387 for platform restoration.
