Local vigil planned for shooting victims
The Lincoln Elementary School playground will be the site of a candlelight vigil for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in Newtown, Conn.
The vigil, organized by Gary Ruth Sr., will be Friday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m.
A brief prayer service will be led by the Rev. Regan Stoops.
Those attending are asked to bring a candle and wear something with the colors of green and white.
