Locals place at state fair
The following Henry County residents placed during competition at the Iowa State Fair this year:
Justamere Farm of Wayland: second and fourth in the summer yearling heifer competition; third in the junior best three females competition; fourth in the junior heifer calf competition; ninth in the senior heifer calf competition.
Lindsey Roth of Mt. Pleasant: second in the nine to 10-year-old coloring contest.
