Lockridge man arrested after alleged assault

LOCKRIDGE – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies had to use a taser on a Lockridge man during an arrest where the man allegedly fought with deputies.
Randon William Lee Robbins, 32, was arrested on Dec. 31, 2022 and charged with a series of crimes including assaulting a peace officer. According to his arrest report, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Railroad Street in Lockridge at 9:40 p.m. on Dec. 31.
Upon their arrival, deputies spoke with Robbins, who allegedly did not comply with their commands and who began to act aggressively toward the deputies. Robbins allegedly pushed Deputy Justin Smith, and a struggled ensued where Robbins fought with the deputies. The arrest report indicates that deputies used a taser on Robbins twice before they could place him in handcuffs.
Deputies spoke to three witnesses at the residence, who told them that Robbins had assaulted a man by shoving him to the ground and kicking him, and assaulting a juvenile by shoving him to the ground. According to the witnesses, Robbins threatened to kill one of the victims and the man’s wife.
Robbins was charged with assaulting a peace officer, child endangerment, harassment, and domestic abuse-assault. His bond was set at $10,000.
