Lucille Marie Curtis, 87, of Burlington, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at Burlington Care Center in Burlington.

No service is planned at this time. The body has been cremated.

Ms. Curtis was born March 21, 1926, in Batavia, the daughter of Estol and Mary Louise Unkrich Curtis.

She graduated from the University of Iowa.

She lived in Houston, Texas and worked at Texaco as an office worker for more than 40 years before she retired.

She lived in Burlington the past four years.

Survivors include one foster sister, Peggy Inbody.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
