Community activities: Boy Scouts, Cornerstone Youth Group and Wellman First Baptist Church.
Future plans and goals: Go to college to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering and become an engineer. Then I want to get married and have a family and be involved in my community.
How will your high school experiences help you in coming years?
Learning to try new things and work with others will help as I go to college and in my future career. Sports helped me learn discipline and to never give up which will help as I become an engineer.
Fondest memory of high school?
When the cross country team made it to state my senior year. This was a big deal for us because we have been working hard together for a long time.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on your education and why?
In elementary school Mrs. Adam helped me learn to be more disciplined and detail oriented. In high school Sieren helps me prepare for my future and challenges me to be better.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you?
My dad influenced me to always do my best in school and activities. He helped me learn that I like to find out how things work which leads me to want to be an engineer.
What is special about your high school?
We have good teachers that help prepare us for the future. We also have a good variety of activities that we do well in.
If you could go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself?
Don’t be afraid of challenging yourself because that makes you a better person. Getting out of your comfort zone causing you to grow.
