Maharishi School giving away its old perimeter fence
Maharishi School is applying for a federal School Safety grant toward the cost of replacing the wood fence surrounding the school, and is interested in giving away the old fence to residents who could reuse or recycle it.
Head of School Richard Beall said Fairfield Habitat For Humanity ReStore Is interested in the posts, but the rest of the fencing is available for free to be hauled away. He said there is over 1,000 feet of fence varying in height between about 6-7 feet tall.
“It is weathered wood, installed about 25 years ago,” Beall said.
