Maharishi school invites community to Spring Celebration

The Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment invites all students, faculty, staff and community members to the 38th Annual Spring Celebration at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Maharishi School assembly hall.??

The event celebrates the achievements of the past season and honors a few outstanding members from the school, university and Fairfield community who have demonstrated success through their creativity, intelligence and organizing power.

Maharishi School students have selected four to receive Maharishi Awards: Fran Clark for expansion, Linda Hutchins for world harmony, Nelson Smith for agriculture and Scott Timm for renewable energy.

Quarterly achievements will be reported on Maharishi University of Management by Craig Pearson, ?Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment by Lawrence Eyre?, Maharishi Vedic City by Kent Boyum? and the city of Fairfield by Mayor Ed Malloy.

Entertainment will include Nathaniel Zhu on the piano and Jiang Hefei on the violin.
