Concrete was poured in downtown Mt. Pleasant on West Monroe Street on Monday, June 3. Nelson Concrete Paving Company plans to begin paving Main Street on Wednesday, June 5, weather permitting. The pour will take an estimated four to six hours, and roads are closed to traffic while crews work.
