Major water line breaks in Fairfield
Due to a major water main break in Fairfield, the water department shut down the intersection at South Fourth Street and Madison Avenue Friday morning. Traffic is advised to find an alternate route and use extreme caution if navigating through this particular area.
The neighborhood will experience low water pressure, discolored water, and at times no water service at all.
'This is a large line and our crews are working as quickly as possible to fix it,” stated a news release from Fairfield City Hall. 'Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this process.”
