Man arrested for child endangerment

A Salem man was arrested for threatening to harm children and others on Friday, April 5, around 9:16 p.m.
Thadeux Wilson, 31, of Salem, was arrested and charged with harassment first degree, an aggravated misdemeanor, child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor and interference with official acts causing injury, a serious misdemeanor.
Wilson was arrested after the Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to 101 S. Monroe Street in Salem for a welfare check.
The Iowa State Patrol and Henry County Health Center Ambulance responded to assist at the scene.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
