Man arrested for possession of narcotics

Narcotics were located in a vehicle belonging to a Ft. Madison man during a traffic stop on James Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 20.
Justice Woodsmall, 22, of Ft. Madison was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a serious misdemeanor after he was stopped on Saturday. He was driving a gold Chrysler 300 in the 1200-grid of James Avenue.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
