Man charged with theft

WASHINGTON ? A Washington man is in the Washington County Jail under $10,000 bond after being arrested Saturday morning and charged with first-degree theft. The Washington Police Department confirmed it was in connection with reports of embezzlement from Archer Appliance and Electronics.

According to the Washington County call log, Greg Allen Schindler, 53, of Washington, was arrested at 314 W. Madison St. on a Washington County warrant for first-degree theft.

In late August Robin Renee Guengerich, 47, of Washington, also was arrested at the sheriff?s office at 2181 Lexington Boulevard on a charge of first-degree theft. It is also alleged that she embezzled from Archer.

She was given a $10,000 bond.
