Man charged with unlawful possession of a prescription drug

A Henry County man was charged with unlawful possession of a prescription drug on Thursday, April 11, after being brought to the Henry County Sheriff's Office.
Casey Strum, 32, was found to be in possession of a medication without a valid prescription. This medication was found by jail staff during an initial search of his personal property after his arrival. As a result of this incident and investigation Casey was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Drug, a Serious Misdemeanor.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
