Man safely removed from corn bin after getting stuck

A man was safely removed from a corn bin after getting stuck in the 2600 grid of 120th Street on Tuesday, April 23, around 9 a.m.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office received a 911 report of a man stuck in a corn bin on Tuesday. Winfield Fire and Rescue, the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Henry County ambulance service responded to the call. The Mt. Pleasant Fire Department also responded as a precaution and a MedForce helicopter was requested.
Winfield Fire and Rescue removed the man from the corn and he climbed out of the bin with minor assistance.
Mt. Pleasant Fire and Rescue and MedForce were advised to disregard before their arrival on the scene.
