Marcus to speak on smart meters

Fairfield attorney Jay Marcus will give a presentation Tuesday night at Phoenix Rising Hall titled 'The evidence about Alliant's smart meters, a legal perspective.”
The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. Marcus has spent more than six months gathering and presenting evidence to the Iowa Utilities Board concerning Alliant Energy's smart meter program. Some of the points Marcus plans to cover include how often the meters emit radiation, what the American Cancer Society says about radiation, the community-wide opt-out, and other matters.
