Mass paving planned for Friday
Shipley Construction is going to attempt to pave the whole ?enchilada? Friday, meaning Washington Street from just east of the Marion intersection to Jay Street.
Consequently, Washington Street will be closed during the day Friday and reopen Friday night when paving has been completed.
Motorists are encouraged to use either Clay or Monroe streets to travel east or west through Mt. Pleasant during the day Friday.
