Some of Fairfield?s finest, chief of police Julie Harvey and firemen Brett Ferrel, seated, and Josh Tarrence wore prison stripes as they sat behind bars this morning at Best Western Fairfield Inn, all for a good cause. The fun, MDA Lockup gives community and business leaders an opportunity to raise funds for Jerry?s Kids by agreeing to be ?arrested? for having a ?big heart?. Donors help them ?get out of jail? by giving to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the battle against neuromuscular diseases. On a local level, Tarrence?s daughter Addison, who will be 4 in March and has spinal muscular atrophy, could benefit from research made possible by these donations.
