Medical issue leads to one-vehicle accident
A one-vehicle accident June 3 in Mt. Pleasant at the intersection of South Jackson and West Washington streets resulted in $8,500 in property damage.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, David Kirk of Mt. Pleasant was having medical issues and lost control of his vehicle, striking a concrete barrier on the southeast side of the intersection.
Kirk was treated for injuries at the scene and released. ...

A one-vehicle accident June 3 in Mt. Pleasant at the intersection of South Jackson and West Washington streets resulted in $8,500 in property damage.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, David Kirk of Mt. Pleasant was having medical issues and lost control of his vehicle, striking a concrete barrier on the southeast side of the intersection.
Kirk was treated for injuries at the scene and released. Damage to the Kirk vehicle was estimated at $8,000 while damage to the barrier was set at $500.
Mt. Pleasant Police were assisted at the scene by Breuer?s Towing and the Henry County Health Center.
