Mental hearing delayed for Albia man accused of brother?s murder
A mental competency hearing has been rescheduled for a southern Iowa man accused of killing his brother, who was respected doctor.
Seventy-three-year-old Richard Davis, of Albia, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 60-year-old Gary Davis. He was shot multiple times in his driveway in Albia on Feb. 15, 2011.

Richard Davis? trial was originally set for last August, but it was put it on hold indefinitely until after his mental health can be determined.
The Ottumwa Courier says a competency hearing for Davis, which had been set for March 14, was postponed April 18 at the request of his defense attorney.
