Mertens named SEC wrestler of the year, Crile earns second team All-SEC nod
The Southeastern Conference has released its all-conference teams for the 2015-16 wrestling season. Mt. Pleasant was honored with one first-team nomination and one second team nomination.
Colten Mertens, the Panthers? 145 lbs. state runner up was named to the SEC first team. The MPCHS senior was also named conference wrestler of the year.

The Southeastern Conference has released its all-conference teams for the 2015-16 wrestling season. Mt. Pleasant was honored with one first-team nomination and one second team nomination.
Colten Mertens, the Panthers? 145 lbs. state runner up was named to the SEC first team. The MPCHS senior was also named conference wrestler of the year.
Fellow senior Kallin Crile, who placed third in Mt. Pleasant?s district tournament, earned a second team nod at 220 lbs.
