Meth lab busted at the Iris Motel
Early Thursday morning, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Mt. Pleasant Police officers discovered an active methamphetamine lab at the Iris Motel. The Iris Motel is located at 905 W. Washington Street.

Early Thursday morning, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Mt. Pleasant Police officers discovered an active methamphetamine lab at the Iris Motel. The Iris Motel is located at 905 W. Washington Street.
As a result of the investigation, Kenneth Crail, 29, of Ft. Smith, Ark.; Matthew J. Miller, 21, no address given; and Jenna M. Shaw, 19, of New London, were all charged and arrested with conspiracy to manufacture five grams or less of methamphetamine. The charge is a class C felony.
All three are being held at the Henry County Jail on $50,000 bond.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department was assisted by an officer with the High Risk Unit, State Parole/Probation Office, the Iowa Department of Public Safety Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the Henry County Sheriff?s Departments and the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department.
