Mid-Prairie changes mailing address
WELLMAN - School district officials said Mid-Prairie’s Central Office was taking steps toward shutting down its P.O. Box.
In an email, Superintendent Brian Stone said the change would save employees’ time.
“It will be phased out over the next 18 months while the mail is currently being forwarded to us,” he said. “We are going through this process so that we don't have custodians taking time out of their day to go and get the mail.”
The district has asked mail-senders to instead address their items to the office building itself. That address is 1636 Hwy 22 East, Wellman, IA 52356.
