Mid-Prairie homecoming this week

WELLMAN — Mid-Prairie celebrates homecoming this week, packing the days with festivities, themes and assemblies.
The school’s dress-up day themes this year are: Pajama Day on Monday, Favorite Team Day on Tuesday, Class Distinction Day on Wednesday, Barbie/Ken Day on Thursday, and Black and Gold Day Friday.
The school also will make a new tradition this year, throwing a homecoming parade Wednesday, Sept. 13 in Wellman. The event will close Eighth Avenue to traffic and parking from Second to 13th Street. All vehicles must be moved by 4:30 p.m.
