Mid-Prairie jazz band plays Washington library
WASHINGTON — Performers from the Mid-Prairie High School Jazz Band made the trip from Wellman to Washington Thursday for a noon concert at the public library. The band also featured special guests Gary McCurdy and Randy Swift.
Director David Kunz said the event went well.
“The audience was very appreciative of our performance and there was a great turnout,” he said. “We are very thankful to get this opportunity to play at the Washington Public Library and we hope we can do it again next year.”
