I love Hanukkah! Me and my family are Jewish so I don’t do Christmas. For Hanukkah I don’t know what I want. I just want to spend time with my family. We light the candles and we talk about how God did a miracle. Fun fact: Hanukkah is sometimes called Chanukah. And last year for a Hanukkah on the last day of Hanukkah our gift was a sheet of paper with pictures of Hanukkah things and it spelled 3 words and the 3 words said great wolf lodge and then we went to great wolf lodge it was SO fun!!!

It means waking up and feeling so happy that it is Christmas! Opening one or two gifts before breakfast and then after breakfast, taking turns opening the rest of the gifts. Then, we give gifts to our neighbors. We go outside and play games in the snow and after getting cold in the snow, we come in and watch a movie and drink hot cocoa by the fire. It also means being with cousins, having feasts, celebrating Jesus’ birth and going to church, and singing Christmas carols and it means Santa too.
