Mid-summers nights
The annual Midsummer celebration in Swedesburg took place Sunday evening, June 24. The families of the honored couple, Albin and Hilma Swenson, erected the flowered midsummer pole. Swedish folk songs and dances were presented by the Swedish Folk Dancers from Lindsborg, Kan. The Swedish Heritage Society was pleased to have a few guests from Sweden present for this occasion.
