Middle school duplicate bridge students play in tournament
The final tournament class for the Middle School Duplicate Bridge Students was held on Saturday, May 4, at the Mt. Pleasant Middle School with a total of four tables ? two sixth grade class tables and two eighth grade class tables.
All pairs played eight ?boards? with the following results:
? Sixth grade winners: east-west Charles Chapmen and Conner Coleman, north-south Carson Miller and Shaleen Thiengmany

The final tournament class for the Middle School Duplicate Bridge Students was held on Saturday, May 4, at the Mt. Pleasant Middle School with a total of four tables ? two sixth grade class tables and two eighth grade class tables.
All pairs played eight ?boards? with the following results:
? Sixth grade winners: east-west Charles Chapmen and Conner Coleman, north-south Carson Miller and Shaleen Thiengmany
? Eight grade class winners: east-west, Trever Linkin and Jacob Crooks, north-south Heather Wilson and Shyanne Johnston.
Trophies and pizza followed the graduation tournament with several parents monitoring the tournament and awards.
Ralph Andersen was the director-in-charge. Sue Loescher and Roy Gilleard, instructors of the early morning sixth grade class, were present. Jean Steffensmeier, Dixie Horsey and Sally Faber also assisted in the snacks and tournament. The eighth grade class instructor, Rose Steffensmeier, also attended early in the tournament dressed in her prom dress.
