Milestones? Family Caregivers Conference

Family and friends who provide care for relatives and friends are invited to talk with exhibitors and hear speakers at the Milestones? Family Caregiver Conference.

The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 22, at the Steamboat Senior Center, 501 Jefferson St., Burlington. There is no charge to attend this open format event.

Keynote speaker, James Cushing, Community Health Manager with Healthy Hometown Powered by Wellmark, will present informational resources and define new developments for Iowa caregivers starting at 11 a.m.

Caregivers will learn about services and programs as they visit information tables of providers and organizations who serve the Burlington area. Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) also will be present to answer your Medicare questions.
