Mt. Pleasant City Council members corrected a long-time mistake Wednesday night. The house in the photo, owned by David and Brenda Bain, located on the northwest corner of McMillan Park has a property deed showing the city owning the house. Mt. Pleasant City Council members corrected a long-time mistake Wednesday night. The house in the photo, owned by David and Brenda Bain, located on the northwest corner of McMillan Park has a property deed showing the city owning the house. Meanwhile, the barn, located just to the south, was showed owned by the Bains. The discovery was made during some research and evidently the error has gone undetected for three-quarters of a century, city officials said. The council passed a resolution approving the exchange of real estate with the Bains.
