A two-vehicle collision, pictured above, occurred at the intersection of Mapleleaf Drive and Cherry Street on Tuesday afternoon, just before 2 p.m.

A two-vehicle collision, pictured above, occurred at the intersection of Mapleleaf Drive and Cherry Street on Tuesday afternoon, just before 2 p.m.
According to a press release from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a 2002 Toyota operated by Robert Jensen had been southbound on Cherry Street. The Jensen vehicle stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Cherry Street and Mapleleaf Drive, and then entered the travel path of a 1998 Pontiac operated by Barb Riley, which had been eastbound on Mapleleaf Drive, according to the press release.
Riley was transported to the Henry County Health Center via ambulance for treatment of possible injuries.
