Mishap on Washington results in $6,000 damage
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident on Washington Street yesterday morning.
Kim Brumbaugh, age and address unknown, was attempting a left turn from the eastbound lanes of Washington into Shottenkirk?s business driveway in her 2010 GMC Terrain. She failed to see the westbound 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport, owned and operated by Lisa Erlewine, and the vehicles collided.

Kim Brumbaugh, age and address unknown, was attempting a left turn from the eastbound lanes of Washington into Shottenkirk?s business driveway in her 2010 GMC Terrain. She failed to see the westbound 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport, owned and operated by Lisa Erlewine, and the vehicles collided.
No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $6,000. Brumbaugh was cited for failure to yield upon left turn.
