More than 200 turn out for Engage Fairfield job fair
Engage Fairfield held a job fair on July 29 at the Argiro Student Center on the campus of Maharishi International University.
The group stated that it held the job fair to “acquaint attendees with the broad range of current employment opportunities in the community, and the nature of services provided by our local businesses and organizations.”
Leah Collmer, project and event coordinator of Engage Fairfield, said the event drew over 200 job seekers and business enthusiasts.
Collmer said special thanks are due to local businesses who donated gift cards and gift baskets for the raffle and door prizes at Engage Fairfield: Everybody's Whole Foods, HyVee, TeaLight Teas, The Ride Bike Shop, Thymely Solutions and Spring Sunrise Natural Foods.
