Motorcyle accident near Rome claims Mt. Pleasant man
A Mt. Pleasant man, John Dewayne Booton, 58, died in a motorcycle accident northeast of Rome on old Highway 34 Tuesday.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Booton was traveling eastbound just west of 1388 old Highway 34 when he lost control, ran off the road to the right and came to rest in the south ditch.
Booton was operating a 2012 motorcycle, which sustained $2,000 in damage. The accident occurred at 7:34 and ...

A Mt. Pleasant man, John Dewayne Booton, 58, died in a motorcycle accident northeast of Rome on old Highway 34 Tuesday.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Booton was traveling eastbound just west of 1388 old Highway 34 when he lost control, ran off the road to the right and came to rest in the south ditch.
Booton was operating a 2012 motorcycle, which sustained $2,000 in damage. The accident occurred at 7:34 and the victim was transported by Henry County Ambulance to the Henry County Health Center.
