Mount Pleasant man killed in local accident
A single-car accident in Jefferson County claimed the life of a Mount Pleasant man Thursday.
At approximately 5:23 p.m., 31-year-old Bradley Ryan Goodrich was eastbound on Highway 34, west of the Highway 1 exit, in a 2008 Chrysler Sebring when his vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch, according to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol.

A single-car accident in Jefferson County claimed the life of a Mount Pleasant man Thursday.
At approximately 5:23 p.m., 31-year-old Bradley Ryan Goodrich was eastbound on Highway 34, west of the Highway 1 exit, in a 2008 Chrysler Sebring when his vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch, according to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol.
Goodrich was transported to Jefferson County Health Center by ambulance.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. The state patrol was assisted by the Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office, Fairfield Police Department and Libertyville Fire and Rescue.
