BURLINGTON ? The Mt. Pleasant boys? tennis team topped Notre Dame/West Burlington, 6-3, in an away meet at Dankwardt Park on Thursday.
No. 2 singles player Zach Schimtz won 8-4 for the Panthers.
No. 3 Matt Zihlman won 8-6 and No. 4 Tyler Pace claimed an 8-4 victory.

No. 3 Matt Zihlman won 8-6 and No. 4 Tyler Pace claimed an 8-4 victory.

With the Mt. Pleasant win already sealed, Zihlman and Pace won their doubles match by a score of 8-6, while Meyer and Colton Schinstock took a doubles victory by a score of 8-4.
?Meyer and Schinstock are improving,? Rodgers said.
The Panthers are back over .500 with the win; they move to 4-3 on the season.
They will play again today (Friday) at Ft. Madison, starting at 4:30 p.m.
