The Mt. Pleasant eighth-grade girls? basketball teams closed out their season at home on Thursday night.
The Panthers swept Ft. Madison, with the ?A? team winning, 17-11, and the ?B? team winning, 25-4.
Mt. Pleasant had to stage a comeback in the ?A? game. The Panthers trailed, 6-2 after the first quarter and 8-7 at halftime.

The Mt. Pleasant eighth-grade girls? basketball teams closed out their season at home on Thursday night.
The Panthers swept Ft. Madison, with the ?A? team winning, 17-11, and the ?B? team winning, 25-4.
Mt. Pleasant had to stage a comeback in the ?A? game. The Panthers trailed, 6-2 after the first quarter and 8-7 at halftime.
Mt. Pleasant went on a 5-0 run in the third period to take a 13-8 lead heading into the fourth, and won the final period, 4-3.
Elli Liechty led the team with six points in the win. Ryann Davidson had four points. Karsyn Lamm, Emma Rugg and Avery Sutter had two points apiece and Emma Huckabone had one.
The Panthers shut the Bloodhounds down in the first three quarters of the ?B? game, outscoring them, 19-0, during that time period.
Ft. Madison was able to score four points in the final quarter, but the Panthers put up six of their own to walk away with the 21-point victory.
Davidson scored six points in the ?B? game to lead the team. Huckabone and Mikayla Ackles had four apiece and Christina Carthey finished with one.
The ?A? team finished the year 11-1. The ?B? squad ended the season, 9-2-1.
