The boys? golf team also had a good day on Tuesday, as they picked up a win with a score of 149 in a home triangular against West Burlington/Notre Dame (162) and Ft. Madison (177).
Mt. Pleasant?s Kyle Kauffman was the medalist with a score of 35, and runner-up medalist honors went to another Panther, Kiley Miller (36). Quinn Daniel scored a 38 and Jacob Smith shot a 40 to round out the team score.
Jordon Phomsouvandara (41) and Collin Baccam (46) also played for the Panthers, who are now 26-14 on the season.
The boys were scheduled to play today at the Oskaloosa Tournament and the girls were scheduled for a tournament in Ottumwa; both events were cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
Next up for both teams is the conference meet; the girls will play at Fairfield and the boys will host their meet at Mt. Pleasant Golf and Country Club. Both events start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
