MP Kiwanis Club sends 2,160 packaged meals to Honduras
The Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis Club members spent the morning of Dec. 10 packaging food for the Kids Against Hunger program. The international club works to help needy children around the globe.
In total, the club members were able to package 2,160 meals at the Fellowship Cup that morning.
The club donated $400 for this project this year. The Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis Club conducts this project annually.

The Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis Club members spent the morning of Dec. 10 packaging food for the Kids Against Hunger program. The international club works to help needy children around the globe.
In total, the club members were able to package 2,160 meals at the Fellowship Cup that morning.
The club donated $400 for this project this year. The Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis Club conducts this project annually.
The members assembled the packages in an assembly line fashion. The packages contain a scientific formula of condensed food that will be shipped to Honduras.
The members that participated in the event on Dec. 10 were Dr. Christopher Olson (project chairman), Kelly Thannert, Kurt Rorick, Brian Carter, Vince Mahoney, Ron and Alecia Clouse, Lois Rother, Chuck Comfort, Mike Tometich, Jim Hart and Tim Olson.
