MP man arrested for drunken driving
An investigation during a traffic stop for a non-functioning brake light led to an arrest for a driver operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on Tuesday, June 26.

An investigation during a traffic stop for a non-functioning brake light led to an arrest for a driver operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on Tuesday, June 26.
Aaron Schleisman, of Mt. Pleasant, was driving a black 2003 F-150 near the intersection of South Walnut Street and East Washington Street in Mt. Pleasant around 1 a.m. Tuesday when he was stopped by a Henry County Sheriff?s officer. Schleisman was placed under arrest and transported to the Henry County Jail. He was charged with operating while under the influence first offense, a serious misdemeanor and given a warning for the improper brake light.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department assisted with this traffic stop.
