MP man arrested for indecent exposure

A Mt. Pleasant man was arrested for indecent exposure after exposing himself to a witness and masturbating in his vehicle in the Walmart parking lot on Tuesday, April 30.
Richard Williams 45, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested and transported to the Henry County Jail and charged with one count of indecent exposure on Tuesday. A witness took a photograph of the suspect vehicle, which then left, and officers located him on East Mapleleaf Drive in Mt. Pleasant.
The Mt. Pleasant Police were assisted by the Henry County Sheriff's Office.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
