MP man attempts burglary, crashes bike

A Mt. Pleasant man was stopped by officers with the Mt. Pleasant Police Department after he burglarized a house and garage in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, April 1, at 3:15 p.m.

The Mt. Pleasant Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in progress. As they arrived at the scene, Kyle Noble, 25, was attempting to flee the scene on his motorcycle. He crashed the motorcycle and was taken into custody.

Noble was charged with Burglary 3rd, Eluding, No Valid Driver's License and Failure to Maintain Control.

The damage to his motorcycle was estimated at $1,500. Henry County Ambulance and Breuers Towing assisted at the scene. There were no injuries reported.
